A tan brown, heavy leather document brief case, the design is 1940’s and is possibly related to the German military.
There are no identification markings on the item but research shows the style is from the period described.
Vintage 1940's Tan Brown Leather Brief Case [Fair] Surface Wear | Military Attache
This is made from very heavy leather.
The case has 2 front wallet packets beneath the clasps. There is a further 2 compartments, one is zipped.
The surface has lots of wear with some rubs and scuffs. The edges and corners are really worn.
The metal clasps are in place and work as they should.. There is no key present. These clasps are very well worn and have some corrosion patches (rust)
This has a strap, there is wear to the holes and buckle.
The surface of the leather has some engrained grime, I suspect the leather will require cleaning and treating.
Condition: Fair
Type: Miscellaneous
Era: 1950's
